[libhid-discuss] libhid in Linux 2.4 / gcc 2.96

Hi,

Your library is a good API to HID. We have used it on the latest
Debian distro, this works fine.

Now we have to implement libhid (0.2.16) in an environment with Linux
2.4 and gcc 2.96. I know this is ancient, but we really can't upgrade
now.
Is there a way to get libhid working in this environment?

The ./configure works, but the make command stops after the messages
below. If you need more information, please ask.

We would really appreciate it if you can help us out with this.

Best regards.

I cannot not answer your question, but the "message below" is missing.

Seriously, please just help yourself.

../include/hid.h:74: parse error before `*'
Fix this error. Just work through the issues one at a time and see if
you can get it to build. My guess is that you will not need to fix
more than a single issue. Please send a patch when you're done and
have discovered what the problem was in this ancient environment. If
it is not a particularly intrusive patch then maybe it'll get added
to libhid.
